SO the Greeks are not Aussie , or Japanese born here are not Aussie, or Samoans born here are not Aussie ?
I think you are being a bit too specific assuming one has to be Anglo- Australian to be "Aussie"
PS also know some Christian Syrians living here who I consider and they themselves consider as third generation "Aussies"
