Inflation in the month of March 2015 accelerated to 1.32% the highest level since February 2003 with February 2015 at 1,22%. Inflation in Brazil for the 12 month period ending 31 March 2015 is 8.13% the highest since December 2003 (9.30%).
The average increase in energy costs were 36.34% in March 2015 with the average 12 month increase of 60.42%.
Increases in fuel costs this year 2015 have so far reached 9.80%, with the average 12month increases standing at 11.49%.
The above facts could not be foreseen in any business plan, contingencies would be blown out of the window and questions the future viability of many projects.
