Why Dex have you not chosen to see if it sticks on both sides when its flung maybe?

There is no slippery slope there unless of course you want make one by taking a side in law of the Constitution where you choose to amend the law because you fall foul of it and just have a nah or aye power to do it .

They both have to abide by it as the choose to serve under it . They take the oath .

Why should we not have a federal icac ?

Both of the major parties have be investigated and well of course you can drag along independents minors what ever in a fair system where they are all governed equally by an overseeing body so we can restore public faith in the system .

If you took that to the public perhaps as a plebiscite referendum what ever and rest this power back off them to the public they serve imo.

Why do they even have to go to the high court? Isnt this the electoral commisions job of which they say no its not . Because the member has pass the test perhaps that they can present themselves to the public for election and dont fall foul of it .

If its not there job then well its the prime ministers job to ensure once elected all those elected are fit to pass the Constitution and the rules .

How many did John Howard throw out in his first year that didnt meet the simple requirements?

If there is a slippery slope then lets take it before it gets to big that slope .

Im not sure how old you are but once upon a time maybe still now they had big kids and little kids slippery slides .

So i as a person who gets one yah or nah on the slippery slide would like know that yes they have taken the little slippery slide first if i wanted influence them before getting to the big kids slippery slide .

Well slope in this case for the analogy !
