I'm not surprised the alp/greens went poorly in Queensland. What hope for jobs did they offer?
adani is a ruthlessly run company that I would trust to dump anything in the GBR if they saw a profit in it.
if the alp/greens proposed a boost to agriculture instead whilst highlighting their adani environmental/tourism concerns then they would have been electable.
combine this with promises to increase an airport or seaport size and you have a believable vision.
instead the greens offered no rural development at all and the alp knew that if they won they would be kneeling before the greens.
the alp failed to offer employment to an area with high unemployment. That is just stupid.
