Reasons why AVB's share price is depressed:

- nearly two years since commencing finance negotiations
- no news on finance progress for a long time
- construction start date delayed by over one year
- further exploration put on hold
- initial exploration results not that good
- over $20 million spent in two years (only $5 million on plant purchases) and still no construction start

Reasons why AVB's share price should be higher:

- known resource value over $5 billion
- supported by Glencore, BlackRock and Appian
- high copper percentages, shallow depth and low mining costs
- finance terms agreed
- Full Mine Licence
- 2012 JORC completed
- Major plant items purchased
- Stage 1 mine construction cost is low

Just a few of my thoughts on paper. I'm sure there are other reasons.
