I believe their P&L figures for FY25 onwards are very conservative. They also highlight the need for new financing of $45mil this quarter if KCN are going to payout Nebari in June rather than September - this financing must either come from a Bangkok Bank working capital facility, sale proceeds from NE(they state there are still four bidders interested - might be a tall tale they're being told there) or from an equity issue. You'd think they wouldn't need the whole $45mil if they delayed Nebari payout until Sept, they say that NE sale proceeds might be around $30mil.
You would have to think Canaccord Genuity would be in line to do the equity issue if it became necessary - they are more likely to find institutional buyers(Jamie wants them rather than LG) both here and overseas that are likely to hang on to their shares compared to Barrenjoey where all the shares got flicked/dumped within three months.
The march to higher prices has commenced.
