Agree with most of your post and also hope for a few uptrend spikes in the near future.
I guess timing is everything in this game once you find a decent company, time to buy but more importantly, time to sell. If you got your time to buy right, which you previously did, then once there was a firm retrace in place from extreme highs then I bet there are many wishing they banked profits. It doesn't mean you dislike the company, just that the time was right not to hold.
in my experience, it's also not a good time to by when shorts are increasing. This may have another 10-20% to fall and I don't think there will be a major closing of shorts until there is a substantial swing in trends. Will probably occur when and if there are some positive announcements and it won't worry them if they miss the bottom.
And a far better time for us to buy on the way up than on the way down.
