A quick look at the one year chart comparison with US Steel and Cleveland-Cliffs, the gap is extraordinary. Cleveland up 78%, US Steel 51%, Bluescope 7%. Last month alone 31%, 34% and 2% respectively. And their North Star Mill is the most efficient in the country and they have just recently bought a steel scrap company to help with supply.
A cyclical company forecast to make EBIT $3.4 billion, cash of $700 million in the bank, just spent $1billion (cash) to expand North Star and $250 for a scrap company.....has a market cap atm of $9.5 billion......doesn't add up!
