    • $566 Million for boosting exploration for resources with a particular focus on critical minerals - The Australian geological database would have plenty of data points across the East & West States, however the NT is not that well understood. Companies which have a decent tenement footprint & also companies employing the most modern, advanced exploration techniques at lowest cost, IMO, would be well positioned to play a part in this exploration effort. This also reminds me of the government funding the mapping of offshore oil & gas reserves back in the 80s which led to a robust offshore industry & overseas investment - particularly in gas.

Australian federal budget 2024: what we know so far and what to expect
The government has announced $90.6m to boost the number of skilled workers in the construction and housing sector, creating 15,000 fee-free Tafe places and 5,000 places for pre-apprenticeships.
    • $100m to speed up environmental approvals, including assistance for business.
    • The Closing The Gap commitments from February, including a $700m remote jobs program, and March’s announcement of a $4bn remote housing program for the Northern Territory, are expected to be the major components of the Indigenous affairs portfolio.
    Defence and foreign affairs
    • The budget will confirm that Australia’s defence spending will increase from 2.1% of Australia’s economic output next financial year to 2.4% by 2033-34

There are a few additional points above which are of interest - location of both Speewah & the proposed plant at MASDP are Northern Australia - can't help but wonder about the implications for Defence spending in these areas near ports. Any defence related investment, particularly at Wyndham or Middle Arm IMO may also sequeway into shared use infrastructure.
With a local base in Darwin, project at Speewah, potential project in Wyndham & near Alice the apprenticeship/training component & remote jobs programs would be areas where the company could play a part.
Can't help but note that any housing program is not complete without also connecting to services - plumbing & ELECTRICAL - a case could be made for a power line to remote communities where this would provide the most benefit - like out around Speewah.
Additional funding to speed up environmental approvals - speaks for itself.

So although not direct support such as the already announced Future Made in Australia funding (Solar panels, PsiQuantum, Arafura, Alpha HPA, Rensacor) there are initiatives being canvassed where the company could see synergies between what they & this funding is targeting.
