When vaccination didn't work, it was blamed upon the doctor applying it for not making sure that it took properly. Today, when it doesn't work, they just say that we need more vaccines, and nobody queries these experts who got it wrong in the first place when they said that one dose is all you need for lifelong immunity. If an outbreak occurred in the 1800's, it was automatically assumed it came from an unvaccinated person - even though it could be proved that it wasn't. Just like today. Any criticism of vaccination was ruthlessly and cynically suppressed, and reputations ruined, just like today. knew that cowpox didn't confer protection from smallpox, but bulldozed ahead with his pig-headed doctrine anyway.

That's the way. No getting out of this for landholder bludgers or wealthy parasites. Everybody treated equally. I wonder if it includes doctors own children?
