I suspect there is a long way to go for the true recovery figure that will be achieved at SNE. My bet is the conservative 500mmbbls currently being spruiked is perhaps just the base primary recovery. The attached paper explains about it then "improved" and "enhanced" recovery procedures, which then pushes significant increases in recovery. Its an interesting read.
