Blackrock are in control of the share price for the time being. They'll drive the price up and down to suit their own agenda. One common strategy that I'm aware of is to 'manufacture' a price rise to attract momentum traders then force the price down a few days later thereby hitting the stop losses that may have been put in place. It passes the time whilst making the shares work for you I suppose.
