I thing the moving average is useful too.
As well as weighted MA, use the Bollingers either side.

These can alert to cheap or overprice.
Also like the stochastics to give an indication of future moves.

The data for some of this is similar, so will give same indications.
So none of it is "the golden voice"

If share is falling, I wait until slows or stops.
Keep an eye on shorting by using the two options in the list of sellers in Commsec.
Using "order detail" and "price detail"
For instance now there are parcels of 5 and several of a single share in SGP
Flagging shorting.

I try to pick the bottom before buying in
(Impossible in reality)
but getting close makes it easier to sell at a profit.

It's all a gamble;
but using tools and thought helps.
