Catalyst and ABC had a few stories at the start of the year. I think one was about the lengthy research in NZ. The government also has seemingly bailed KBL (the one I have my skin in, a bit nerve racking, lol) a while back in the form of a huge research grant. So they do not want to have these reserves pooped on.
Zinc is a safer than lithium/cobalt for wearables etc. All are rare really if you look at wiki and the composition of the earth. Even lead! As to how long the world can keep throwing all this stuff in the tip, who know, that is probably the volatility although I can not see how something so boring can be compared to nickel. Nickle is called the devils metal, the fad at the moment is to paint other metals with that name, which is just not true, some broker just started doing it a few years ago.
