I recall a few years ago when I was using Pro Real Time charts, I did develop a compound momentum system based on exactly that. This was before I even knew systematic trading was a thing though!
Most of the ones I am watching that have broken down seem to look the same with the weekly momentum throwing the towel in.

I have SIX in my list that looks pretty good with the weekly MACD coming up through the axis, fib still intact, however price is consolidating above and below the 65ema. Another super low volume micro cap, but the chart pattern seems to be there...
