same here. Then a few years after i sold it and bought a block of land in Bayview.. Nice block water views of Pittwater etc for $40,000 (yes again 40 ks) lol build a pole house etc...but a small one 2beds.. then extended when i had the cash.. i've never had a big loan... alway made sure i could repaid it in full if i was in trouble.
