Perhaps but a deteriorating USD is a headwind. Asset inflation is just that and should we get to a boom situation everything an investor touches will turn to gold. And when the tide is out gold still remains. Only those CBs with huge gold reserves seem to be adventurous with QE
I'm seeing lots of interest in Bitcoin. Now this is a bubble of NASDAQ proportions. It's loved by those punters that feel like they're on a ride to the Moon and by those that need to steer clear of institutional finance.
Tucking physical gold away (bullion, ETFs, mining companies included) for the midterm looks like a solid investment strategy.
