You suggested that CB large holdings of gold seemed to be essential for the ability to conduct QE.
Read the word "seem" in my post. That isn't a suggestion.
There are very few hard facts to make statements of certainty. Upon hard scrutiny perhaps a pattern would emerge "suggesting" that CBs are not rolling out QE without some form of asset backing, even if it's just setting up dominos.
