    Without reading the detail, I am going to do a 'Timber' on you. I will guess the gold is priced in USD. And the oil is priced in USD.

    What would be kind of cool is to see: '1 oz of gold will be paid for every 13 barrels of oil to a certain volume' - and renegotiate every year.
