SHCOMP certainly is tanking, but still up 86% for the year to date according to Bloomberg (3785/2033). http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/SHCOMP:IND The Chinese never had much interest in the stock market and preferred to put their money into real estate, hence the real estate bubble. There's so much cash floating around over there that they don't know what to do with it.
