Maybe so but the Chinese have a lot of money to toss around. They will jump into most Australian farms and miners.
It does not surprise me either that the Chinese markets are crashing. It has run up 140% this year. It went down another 4% today as well but I think it has recovered some. It needs to have a very big crash IMO.
Im keeping most of my powder dry right now. Some banks look good but there mortgage business is falling and that is 80% of there business so Im resisting the urge to jump in there even though they are down.
