I spent 10 years working in China from 1993 - 2003 in technology sales. The intoxicating nature of their market would see senior management of the worlds largest corporations often sign contracts at a huge loss just to gain market access ( oh and not to mention the bribery that went with it). That access always amounted to nothing. Lost count of how many Telstra China directors were sent packing with their tails between their legs. I'm sure this is happening right now with the FTA. Get used to our kids having Chinese landlords and having to compete with reworked 457 visas for employment.
History shows the Chinese were screwed over by the west, they are not going to let it happen again. China is for the Chinese and if you think we are going to benefit from it without paying for it by means of major changes to our way of life your dreaming
