Brokers are aware that the shares are being shorted and they probably know who is shorting. This is usually enough to keep brokers and retail investors away from the buy side . CHN have gone from the 49th most shorted stock a month or so ago to 31st a week ago . The shorters obviously don’t believe there will be a mine anytime soon.
Personally, I am against shorting and to me there is nothing better than the smell of shorters burning in the morning (apologies to Robert Duval ) .
I have decided to bail and put my money into a stock with a more precise timeline to development.
