Doesn't it get a little grey though when there's a month or two in between buy and sell and new company info is released, and perhaps different sized parcel is bought, as surely it comes down to whether can be reasonable proved 'intent' was always to rebuy.

Eg what if they realease new info in an updated investor preso which makes it a more attractive future investment, and you genuinely change your mind? Just because you sell cba shares doesn't mean you can't ever own them again.
