China's electric vehicles are the most polluting on the planet when you take in to account two thirds of their energy source is coal fired. As a comparison Chinese vehicles produce 117.8gms CO2 per mile compared to UK at 47.6gms per mile.
It's thought as electric vehicles become more widespread the need/push for clean energy will become even greater ie solar/wind generated power AND STORAGE
