This might be Morrison's chance to get bold and publicly crush the Liberal conservatives over emissions policy. It is within Morrison's ability to get bi-partisan legislation on emissions, eg the NEG, through parliament. Simply by-pass the Liberal wreckers and dinosaurs. Morrison would bring back centre-right Liberal voters. And according to all the delcons, the hard right have all gone, so nothing to lose there.
The electorate will reward Morrison if he crushes the destructive conservatives. Whether it will be enough is doubtful. Wentworth demonstrated the depth of anger over the removal of Turnbull.
