    I'm not arguing for more welfare, I'm arguing that the government's propaganda of an "Age of entitlement" that's destroying the country isn't borne out by the stats. There are some government proposals that are entirely reasonable: Mainly ceasing the indexation of secondary welfare payments (family benefits) which should have been done by the previous government. They should also have ceased the indexation of baby bonus style payments, rather than trying to introduce a $75k per child payment to wealthy families. Instead of reducing welfare for people who don't need it, this government went on the offensive against people who do (the unemployed).
