Now we have Mean sea level pressure and Ocean SST's.
Notice great anti correlation again.
As MSLP increases. SST's decrease
I have circled the bit that seems to get back in sync.
Below is the individual charts.
Now here is the interesting correlation. The break from anti correlation from both charts align perfectly.
I.e MSLP and SST's are in sync and Cloud cover and SSI are in sync. Contrary to the other approx 85% of the time. What is the switch phenomenon that is causing this. Interesting stuff.
I forgot to add that the charts i have plotted are straight copies of the KNMI website that is just pasted onto a excel spreadsheet and the timeseries has been scaled accordingly.
