Australia faces a massive engineering challenge. To change the world's weather next century Australia must destroy our coal fired power stations. How can we do this with the same reliable power supply and cheap power prices? Who will we call on?
This calls for a man with simple answers to complex questions. We need a man unburdened by scientific or engineering qualifications, a man unblinkered by work experience. A man who knows without question that "reliables are the cheapest form of energy". A man who will not be distracted by the experience or actions of other nations.
The ALP must delegate its strongest intellectual to this challenge.
