more virus in circulation means more opportunity for further mutations, particularly those that can evade vaccines.
the let it rip strategy is a roll of the dice imo.
doesnt look like the pressure on the health system, and economy is improving under the current approach.
And natural immunity doesn’t seem to be achievable with the more recent strains so it seems foolish if the strategy is now to infect the whole population.
