ju LONDON (AFX) - LionOre Mining International Ltd said it expects nickel production to rise 20 pct in 2004. In a statement at yesterday's AGM, president and CEO Colin Steyn highlighted the company's production totals, with nickel production in 2003 of 18,600 tonnes, or an increase of just below 50 pct over the previous year. Steyn also commented on the nickel market, stating that despite the recent correction in the nickel price, the fundamentals for the metal are strong and there remains a healthy demand.
