In response to Nutcracker... news on lithium powered vehicles can only be a good thing, right.

However, I found it funny to read some of the very uninformed comments below this article, that are associated with this story. Eg, along the lines of "take all night to charge" - "the batteries only last a couple of years" and "consume excessive power in heavy traffic", were the ones that really cracked me up.
Shows the general public's ignorance regarding EV's. There is some terrific research being done to improve lithium batteries longevity and performance.
Once the general public becomes more informed of the performance of these lithium powered vehicles, they will undoubtedly become much more commonplace.
Or inevitable....
