Compassion verboten in Israel, page-25

Israel isn't and has never been anywhere close to being a democracy. Having democratic elections and and 9 or 10 Israeli non-Jews among the 120 Knesset members doesn't mean $hit - this is not a sufficient condition for the state of Israel to be qualified as a democracy.

A democracy, among other things, means equlity, a gender equality, for example. Until just a few years ago Israeli Jewish women were barred from sitting on equivalent of our Family Court bench - only Jewish male Rabbis. How is that for equality and democracy?

Or, whenever Israeli Jewish women wanted to travel by bus, they had to board the bus through the rear door and remain at the rear part of the bus, the front door was reserved only for Jewish men and so were the front seats of the bus. How is that for equality in this 'seventh wonder of the world' - Israel?

Or, Israeli Arabs who live in Israel are not allowed to buy a home in any ot the settlements. Whether they would buy it, were they allowed to, is another matter, but they are barred from buying and owing it. How is that for equality and democracy? Pretty $hit, isn't it?

There are plenty more examples, I'm mentioning only a few less known or mentioned in HC threads.

Israel is a failed project. The 7th October of 2023 is a turning point marking its gradual downfall, about time.
