I stated it that way because you will find that is exactly what you get. Nothing more.
As for HFT robotic trading in many stocks, I don't see their point. Especially here in Oz where we have only 2 exchanges as opposed to more than a dozen in the US plus proprietary black pools of the big investment banks. In heavily traded stocks I can see where they may make some money. Their main aim is to try and clip a tenth of a cent or so off hundreds of thousands of transactions daily. Read the book I recommended. They explain it very clearly and very detailed, better than I could even start to. It's a fascinating and easy read. A must read along with almost any of Peter Lynch's books.
