Can somebody please explain to this layman why they would sell their MSP shares at current levels?
MSP is doing an on-market buy back for up to ~40million shares over the next year. They need over ~10m shares to be able to allow AVA to compulsorily acquire the remaining 10%, therefore they NEED YOUR shares and thus will pay what it takes.
AVA(FFT) was happy enough to offer 4 for 1 and their current share price is A$0.14 which implies A$0.035 for MSP shares and I'm sure most would argue that AVA is currently undervalued.
MSP cannot pay more than 5% above the 5 day VWAP hence why the price continues to tick updwards slowly each day, let them figure that out with their broker how to manage that to get them to a price that makes sense.
I understand whyyou would be selling them, I just don't understand why you would sell them at current levels or really anything below say A$0.033??
