I’m surprised we are talking about this now. The GBR was doomed back in the 70’s when I was at school due to crown of thorns. Yet it survived and proliferated. It has gone through periods of bleaching, damage from cyclones and renewal. It’s just a cycle. If we took away everyone’s electricity and petrol/diesel vehicles tomorrow we would make zero difference to GBR. Why don’t you set up a permanent protest outside the Chinese Embassy?
