When a virus has the practically of making you sicker with a larger viral load
and it has a mutation which allows more virus to attach to more cells
that may or may not give the new variant more virulence
in most cases it does. In the case of the UK variant- it does.

The biggest new kids off the block- we don’t have much information about yet - The Indian variants.
I’ve only seen some early efficacy data for Pfizer. Too early for effective data.
