I know many think there is something of conspiracy theory about Scotty from Marketing in his role of SECRET Health Minister but consider this..

Thoughts re medical advertising rules in Australia and US
    If this correct..
Looking at recent examples re Viraleze Fleurstat and Paxlovid

1️⃣ Schedule 3 medical device items can have control over their own advertising because the application for approval or review to TGA can request Appendix H allow representation or advertising (ie VivagelDM ™ was first sched3 med device without representation changed in 2022 to with representation/advertising)

2️⃣ Schedule 4 medicines are prohibited from advertising (Doctors script medicines are not allowed to be advertised ie tablets absorbed through the stomach such as Statin - Lipitor)

3️⃣ In the US I believe medicines are allowed to be advertised if FDA authorised

4️⃣ If emergency authorisation in US medicines such as Paxlovid have restriction on how they can sell/advertise but this article shows how they are challenging the rules out of frustration at not getting full authorisation and sales declining...
    https://www.fiercepharma.com/marketing/pfizer-launches-new-branded-paxlovid-ad-covid-it-continues-wait-fda-approval
(BTW the advert if you follow TVSpot link can be viewed in Australia - surprisingly as many videos say "not available in your country" so maybe TGA hasn't spotted it)

So Starpharma by applying for 1️⃣ medical device sched3 like Fleurstat/Vivagel with same active ingredient Astodrimer sodium would be seeking an approval for advertising too and the company/distributors could let Australians know they are selling an effective covid preventative and treatment (based on testing and very effective trials). Without advertising only word of mouth and media mention of Research Info etc would be allowed.

Paxlovid on the other hand can only be registered as a Medicine in Australia because it is human systematic not a just surface barrier product so 2️⃣ appliesThus we see Ita Buttrose advertised on Facebook a couple of months ago
that people seek info on eligibility for antivirals but no mention of Paxlovid

HOWEVER the advert she features in was placed by Pfizer.

Paxlovid of course has had plenty of word of mouth and Govt mention and GPs prescribing it by its chemical name presumably with the recent rules about not putting brand names on prescriptions. its only one 2 antivirals mentioned by ATAGI and Dept of Health communication for home use.

Across the pacific Paxlovid could not be advertised as only had emergency authorisation (see in 4️⃣) and we see that the Commissioner Robert Califf of FDA criticised for advertising Paxlovid
    https://maryannedemasi.substack.com/p/fda-chief-admits-to-cheerleading
    whilst Pfizer not allowed
It seems Paxlovid did get FDA full authorisation in June 2023 so although the video advert appeared prior to that in April it is now allowed.

So going back to March 2021 not only did Viraleze already have "medical device" approval in Europe and other countries (now 35 regulators) but its application to TGA Australia was ongoing for 1️⃣ medical device Sched 3 with appendix H advertising
March 2021 was just as those phase 1 trials of PF-07321332 Paxlovid were starting for a "medicine" which could only ever be in 2️⃣ in Australia

So if Viraleze was approved in 2021 - all Australians could have been told about Viraleze by TV, MSM, SM ads, back of toilet doors in Shopping Centres etc (a favourite with Starpharma!)
PM/Secret Health Minister Scumo, the advertising man would have understood that and it goes to the wording of 2 July 2021 TGA BAN and fine related to representation/advertising of Sched3 Astodrimer sodium.

It seems a very good extra reason why Pfizer thought Viraleze Sched3 +H PHARMACY MEDICAL DEVICE would have advantages and gazump PF-07321332 Paxlovid Sched4 GP Medicine.
