Just wondering why the Channel 9 "commentators" are permitted to touch the wicket during a Test match. Just saw Warne giving the pitch a bit of a rub.

I have seen them walking on the wicket in previous matches.

Do 9 own Test cricket now? It's bad enough that they "dumb down" the commentary with all of the old boys club quotes and their living in the past, constant replays of "when I was playing blah blah", and the annoying past time of placing an "O" at the end of everyones name.

I always thought that the Umpires owned the wicket, not the commentators.

It's the only time when I can safely say that the ABC does it a lot better. bring back skull.
