Patterns often fail and some are more reliable than others. The failures are okay though because you can anticipate them and plan to get out if and when the failure comes. However, when they work you can feel very pleased with yourself.
I particularly like the rounding bottoms - you can see them slowly forming and position yourself accordingly. Depending on your risk/reward appetite you can go in early or wait for the breakout and go in with a tight stop/minimal risk. That all comes down to execution which is that other skill - charting is the easy part.
I picked SBM at 12.5c but in the mother of all defeats I didn't have any cash to take advantage of it. Dismayed by that but happy to have picked it so early.
