Surprise surprise, not even a mention in our controlled news outlets.
I was disgusted in our Governments approach firstly by Howard, and then Julia, of not protecting our Australian citizens like they are entrusted to do. Britain moved early to get their citizens out of Guantanamo Bay, but our highly aligned to US officials took a predetermined righteous attitude of guilty until proven innocent approach. This is a “symbol of our shameful abandonment of the rule of law”. The government abandoned basic democratic principles – and sections of the media cheered it on. The media in the 21st century has been more aligned to government view points rather than acting as it should be....INDEPENDANT, and that is a poor reflection of our society and how we are being controlled and indoctrinated in alignment with government policies. The guy was in Afghanistan before 9/11 or any contrived war, yet was deemed a terrorist before the so called terror had occurred.
