I wouldn't agree with the intuition for a novice trader. For someone like you and other sasoned traders YES but for a new trader the intuition/gut fell is nothing but your emotional side playing out games.
Another thought: the emotional intelligence is about 80-90% of your success. Even if you have a perfect system/rules and know how to read charts, understand FA etc. it all doesn't guarantee brilliant results.
