    Yes, thank you. I'd heard from a few people 'in the know' that 30-60% pa is what the very good traders are making. And then there are a few extreme outliers making in the 100's of %pa. But both these groups combined might make up only 10% of those who trade a short-term time frame, and the rest lose. Please let me know if this doesn't match what you have heard.

    You say you sleep well, so your balance sounds perfect. As you say it all relates to the degree of risk taken, and my desires/fears can make me take on too much risk... resulting in poor sleep/concentration... thence losses.

    It was useful me writing this and hearing your response. It tells me that position size and risk need to be scaled according to sleep-ability rather than market knowledge or experience. The most perfect system or approach can be bankrupted by someone in the wrong frame of mind.
