The studies were conducted specifically on barren and fertile kimberlites in Angola. If you note the degree of chemical content in trace elements, it’s not dissimilar to the article in the link @lame posted.
Our bulk sampling program is, without a doubt, the best form of kimberlite exploration. It’s the priority in the areas we’ve chosen to explore is where I feel they’ve failed.
Nick is certainly pragmatic and I’m hoping that he’ll steer the exploration in a better direction than his predecessor.
I’m confident that the location of Lulo’s source is documented somewhere in MM’s papers dating back to July 2011.
