Emphatic statement of eternality of Jesus in the Greek scriptures of John 1 as well as the distinct personality of the Word.

It is evident that word translated as beginning in English in John's letters gives no hint of being eternal in other places.
(1 John 2:7) Beloved ones, I am writing you, not a new commandment, but an old commandment that you have had from the beginning.
(1 John 3:11) For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
Why would John 1:1 be the exception especially as this would clash with other Scriptures that tell us Jesus is Jehovah's first creation and thus cannot be eternal as is his Father. - Psalm 90:2
(Colossians 1:15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
