Most of the said expert scholar's essays on explaining the trinity, finish with the disclaimer, that no one can really explain it, as God is a mystery, which requires tossing the likes of 17:3 aside.
I'm not prepared to unknow the clear and obvious truth in the likes of 17:3, where Jesus clearly independently of himself, defines the Father as the Only True God.
ppm is insistent that this God here is - Father, Son and Holy Spirit = you toss Jesus's clear words away and create another God and another Jesus.
They do this knowing, that it was not until after the cross, where Jesus was glorified and become a Begotten God, which confirms his words in 17:3, that he was not a begotten God or God when here.
He is now ruling for the Father, until death no more.
