There is a grave disinterest in employers engaging people over 60 years of age, including government agencies. The government is not capable of providing truthful stats relating to the number of people employed for the first time when the person is over 60 years of age.

There is also a percentage of the population, who will never be employed as no employer with half a brain would engage them, such as recidivist thief, drug affected, lack of social skills, necessary knowledge and qualifications.

Current politicians do not care that their government endorsed actions will lead to an increase in car thefts so various unpaid workers can get to their community roles and travel to other suburbs to develop their burglary skills to acquire the below poverty level income they currently get.

It would be best for some of these unpaid workers to descend on the parliament and give the politicians a hand, they may do a better job, as many will have greater age, experience and more senior qualifications.

It is time to elect a government that is transparent, honest and truthful.
