    Sure but it is getting a bit ridiculous. I was on a job site the other day where every vehicle has to check wheel nuts prior to any movement on site or off. You cant guide a dump truck back to its tipping point unless you are qualified in doing that. The form workers all have to now wear gloves on this site as well as long pants and sleeves causing earlier heat stress and discomfort not to mention losing sensitivity of touch.
    Remember the guys that mow the rural sidings . It used to be a one or 2 man job... Now you need a army of traffic controller's to get the same job done. What is the true cost of all these safety measures and has it made it safer? What essential services are we missing out on while we finance this bureaucratic heaven?
    I know our fire brigade battles on with old gear. When our gear is replaced it is with the lesser quality now. Our personal gear issue has been stripped to the bone..
