I'm not sure about the end of public transport although you could see the relief from the government if that was to happen . Would free up some government money as well I guess ?
Real estate layout would definitely be different . No need to live adjacent to a train line . That changes a lot of things .
A whole new business would imerge in building and maintaining the autonomous fleet . The car industry would change as we know it .
Apparently the manufacturers are quietly getting involved in this as obviously their business model would change due to people not owning cars anymore .
