We used eSuperfund - online company. Very painless, fast and efficient. Low cost too. I set up a corporate SMSF with my wife and I as the 2 directors.
It wasn't a 15% change in a day. Went from -15% to -4% in two days. Yes, it's risky but my wife and I are happy to do this. Everyone has to work this out for themselves. We have some particular financial and personal circumstances, as does everyone else
There's no use suggesting or advising here - totally useless. My wife and I had a chat with an independent financial adviser, wound up not taking much of his advice (as it turned out), but we are both happy with the results/risk.
This is the only "advice/suggestion" I'd make to anyone who is thinking of setting up a SMSF: please make sure that you and your significant other are both fully aware of what's going on. Don't assume the responsibility of dealing with your combined nest egg on your own. It will probably end badly for everyone.
